[Trigger warning for prostitution & sexual violence.]
#LawsMenShouldFollow is currently trending on Twitter. I went a-searching to see if others shared my take on the hashtag. And lookee what I found!
A few misconceptions:
1. That rape is simply “stupid” rather than an act of soul-crushing dehumanization used systematically and globally by males, against females.
2. That paying a prostitute is something other than tactical coercion to get a woman to “consent”.
3. That rape is about being sexually “desperate” rather than about men asserting dominance and control over women.
Now, as a humorous palette cleanser also in the vein of “men are awful hypocrites”:
Yeah! The Situation is totally correct, ya’ll. As is the juggalo who agrees with him. Dudes shouldn’t be high maintenance!
Against All Evidence 
Yeah rape rape is stupid because you can get arrested for it. Why not just practice the socially-approved version instead?

I know I should think this is just worthless – but the pain of rage and grief in my stomach makes me write.
What has really got my goat – “Go and get a hooker for 5 bucks” – why not be more honest and say – “get a whore for one dollar, and fuck her up the arse”.
I am sick of living in a society where “jokes” about prostitutes are utterly normalised – a few example of what prostitutes heard all the time.
“It not rape just shoplifting.”
“What crime ends with murder. Rape – unless it is done to a whore.”
But it not just punters who thinks these “jokes” are acceptable, or just the sex trade profiteers – but too many of regular society. It made normal that it is impossible to rape or even do “real” physical or mental harm to a prostitute – for she is not human, just a fuck-machine.
